“I have been hairdressing for 18 years and I come from a family of hairdressers, which is why I originally wanted to try something different. Haha. But when I gave it a go, I absolutely loved it! Turns out it’s in my DNA. It is a very creative, social and inspiring industry to be a part of.  We are constantly learning and adapting to our ever-changing environment and we get to make our clients feel amazing about themselves! This is what is most fulfilling for me.

There is no better feeling than a client leaving my chair feeling fab and knowing more about their hair and how to manage it. I love working with all hair types, but having fine hair myself I have plenty of tips and tricks and advice when it comes to the issues that come along with it. I really excel with mid-long hair also. My signature haircut/hair colour is anything blonde. I love a blonde balayage with soft textured layers and waves. Brunettes don’t shy away, I love working with any hair colour!

But I would have to say my hairdressing speciality is anything hair colour related. I have completed an advanced hair colour course which has aided me in being able to choose the right tones and techniques for your hair and lifestyle. I’m also friendly and easy to talk to and you will meet my sidekick Enzo the cockapoo who loves a cuddle. I have a wealth of knowledge about hair and scalp conditions, styling and what will suit you and your hair type. And I will do my very best to have you leave feeling great about yourself and your hair!

The best hair advice I could give to a client is go for a colour and style that not only suits your face shape and hair type, but your lifestyle too. If you’re a low maintenance person, having a high maintenance style will leave you time-poor and frustrated. Also, investing in professional shampoo is a game changer!

The top hair product I use is Kevin Murphy Young Again Oil and Bedroom hair are two of my favourite products. An oil deeply nourishes your hair without weighing it down and you can’t go wrong with a texturiser which is what Bedroom Hair does for any hair type.
