“I started hairdressing in 2011. I always experimented with my hair as a teenager, changing the haircut and hair colour every single appointment, coming into the salon with a mood board of ideas! One day my hairdresser, Courtney, casually said "Why don't you try hairdressing?" which planted a seed in me and a few months later I saw an advert in school for an apprenticeship in a local salon and I thought that if I could make someone feel how I feel when I get my hair done, that would be incredible! It’s just like when you have the best gift for someone and you can’t wait to give it to them, that’s the same feeling I get when I do someone’s hair and they love it!

I was lucky enough to get the apprenticeship, spending 3 ½ years with The Gallery, who I still have a working relationship with today. 1 year with Joseph Koniak Salon in North London, learning about styling and dressing hair, then I had the opportunity to work with Sassoon, where I spent 6 ½ years learning how to cut hair with such a high level of precision. I just love cutting hair, long, short, straight, curly, it’s all such a joy. Sometimes I even get lost, becoming so absorbed with the task at hand making sure every hair is perfectly cut.

Precision haircutting is my specialty. I always aim for my haircuts to grow out with great shape and balance, and it’s a consequence of length that brings you back. Men’s hair is one of my strengths, it has always come naturally to me and I love the precision that comes with it, long and short. Also working with bob’s, short soft tousled looks, and I always appreciate working with curly hair and styling it in its natural form.

I feel passionate about working with people and having fascinating conversations. I find every client has something that they're uniquely interested in which is so engaging for me. Also, being able to bring my clients ideas to life is incredibly fulfilling.

Recently, I have had opportunities to work with some fantastic people and events such as the Asian Hairdressing Festival in Shanghai, Qatar Creates Glam Team, assisting on the Vanity Fair Rising Star Shoot 2022, assisting 10 Magazine Gucci collaboration.”
