Movember is no new thing to the men of the world, having been officially utilised by the Movember Foundation charity since 2004. Since then the facial hair-willing have grown in phenomenal numbers to spread awareness of men's health issues, who's brilliant mo' efforts have raised £346 million to date.
This Movember we have been following rugby player & Joe and Co regular Alex Corbisiero on his moustache journey. When Alex isn't getting trimmed by Joe and Co's stylist Jacob, he plays for The Northampton Saints, who raised some of the highest funds internationally last year. The big hearted sportsman tells us his Godfather mo' inspirations, and the impact of Movember on the game.
1. Summarise your personality in one tweet.
A kind, caring, focused, family oriented guy. Who has a good balance of maturity and immaturity in his life.
2. And what would your team mates say about you?
The exact opposite! (They would definitely stitch me up!)
3. Why are you doing Movember and what does it mean to you?
I'm doing Movember for a number of reasons, the main one is that both my father and my uncle had testicular cancer in their twenties. Fortunately they both survived, which is a testament to all the great medical work that is being done. Movember contributes greatly to this and it's my way of saying thank you for saving my family.
4. How does a moustache go down with rugby players as a whole? Is Movember a big thing?
I think rugby on a whole has embraced Movember, all across the game from players, to coaches, to support staff and supporters. We come out in full force growing our mo's - this is something I'm very proud of. United we mo is a phrase I like to use.
5. We noticed your team mates were some of the highest fundraisers in 2013. Who do you think will grow the strongest mo this season?
At Northampton Saints we are big supporters of Movember. Every member of the squad and staff all grow our mo's to tell raise awareness and funds. Our captain Dylan Hartley started our team name The Front Mo Union - we let all rugby players and fans join in and help us support this great cause. Last year we were able to raise around £48,000 and we are "MOing" strong again this year.
My personal favourite Mo from last year was Dominic Waldouck - this year him and Sam Dickinson seem to be on course for something special! So keep an eye out for theirs...
6. You went Hulk Hogan last year. Who's your inspiration this time?
Last year I went for the NWO Hulk Hogan look, this year I'm thinking of going for a Marlon Brando look from The Godfather, but we'll see how I get on!
7. What are your top 5 mo's so far in the Autumn internationals?
